Center's history goes back over 100 years when family members of Daniel Boone settled this area and opened a one room schoolhouse.

Rogue Valley is located in the southwestern part of Oregon, along the Rogue River and its tributaries. It includes Oregon's Jackson and Josephine counties.

Jackson County has courthouses in both Kansas City and Independence. Each houses a separate set of county records. These records do not apply to Kansas City, Missouri. These probate case files of Independence and Jackson County have 2 different series, the 2nd following the first. Series 1 has case files that don't have case numbers. Series 2 has case files that do have case numbers. Both series are arranged in alphabetical order by surname.
