George Jarvis (1704-1793), son of William Jervis and Ann, was born in Staunton-upon-Wye, Herefordshire, England. He married Sarah Strange (d. 1729) in 1728. He married Rebecca Blaksley (d. 1741) in 1731. They had three daughters. He married Frances Harvey (d. 1765) in 1745. He died in 1793 in Weston Green. His daughter, Mary (1733-1818), married William Twysden and they had four children.
