George Nephi Jeffs was born 5 April 1889 in Castle Dale, Utah. His parents were James Arthur Jeffs (1855-1919) and Lucinda Seeley (1859-1925). He married Ethel Livingston (1893-1970), daughter of Archibald George Livingston and Hannah Amanda Adler, in 1914. They had three children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England and Utah.

Harry Mayho Jeffs was born in Utah in 1912. His parents were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He married Nellie Lindsay and they were the parents of six children. They lived in both California and Utah. Information on his life, his descendants, and his ancestry is included in this volume. Descendants live in Utah, Texas, Montana, Arizona, and elsewhere.

David Reeder was born 21 December 1801 in Rumburgh, Suffolk, England. His parents were Robert Reeder and Mary Davy. He married Lydia Balls (d.1839), daughter of John Balls and Sarah Scones, in 1828 Chediston, Suffolk. They had six children. Their son, George, emigrated in 1853 and settled in Utah.

He married Ruth Mitchelson (1638-1728), daughter of Edward Mitchelson and Ruth Bushnell 20 October 1656. They fourteen children.
