Lovisa Jenne was born 15 June 1832 in Upper Canada. Her parents were Benjamin Jenne and Sarah Snyder. Her family joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and went to Nauvoo, Illinois, and then on to Utah in 1847. She married Jared Curtis Roundy, son of Shadrach Roundy, 26 February 1852.

Johann Jacob Jenne was born 7 September 1772 in Boetzingen, Freiburg, Baden, Germany. His parents were Tobias Jenne and Jacobea Gruninn. He married Anna Katharina Steinin (1782-1875) 2 March 1801. They had twelve children. Johann died 16 September 1875 in Westerville, Indiana. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. Most descendants spell their name Yaney.
