Thomas Judd (ca. 1608-1688) emigrated from England to New England and was recorded as a landholder in 1634 at New Towne (Cambridge), Massachusetts Bay Colony. He lived at Hartford, Connecticut (1636- 1644) and at Farmington, Connecticut (1644-1679). He moved to Northhampton, Massachusetts, in 1679 and died there.

Thomas Judd (ca. 1608-1688) and his wife, Elizabeth had nine children. The first two may have been born in England, the others were born at Hartford Connecticut. Elizabeth died in 1678 and in 1679, Thomas married Clemence Mason. He died at Northampton, Massachusetts.

John Gay immigrated to America with Gov. Winthrop in the "Mary and John" May 30, 1630, settling at Watertown, Mass. He died March 4, 1688. Thomas Judd came form England in 1633 or 4 and settled in Cambridge, Mass. Apparently, in 1644 he moved to Farmington, Conn. He died in Northampton, Mass. Nov. 12, 1688.

Angus VanMeter Whitmer, son of Benjamin Franklin Whitmer (1856-19323) and Florenia Sonifrank (1858-1899), was born in 1879 in Mathias, West Virginia.He married Sarah Jane Judd, daughter of Don Carols Judd (1853-1917) and Mary Ellen Lewis (1859-1928), in 1901 in Alpine, Arizona. He died in 1955 in Safford, Arizona.
