Description
René St. Julien, born in France in ca. 1660, married Mary Bullock, immigrated to America about 1700, and settled in South Carolina. He later moved to Maryland and then again to Virginia. His descendants lived also in North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, and elsewhere.

Rene de St. Julien (1660-1744) immigrated to America in 1700. Enroute he stopped for a time in Bermuda where he married Mary Bullock. They settled first on the coast of South Carolina and then moved to the western shore of Chesepeake Bay in Maryland. They had nine sons and two daughters. Biography of Nancy Corwin, born in Riverhead, New York, who married Charles Ketcham in 1838/1839, and moved to Indiana. After his death in 1857, she became a tailor/dressmaker. In 1861, she married businessman and widower, Azariah Julian (d.1864). In 1897, she finally consented to move to Long Island to live with a married daughter.
