Julian P. "Goody" Gudmundson (1916- ) to Gudmundur Julias and Ingedjörg Jökull Gudmundson in Minneota, Minnesota. His ancestors on both sides of his family came from Iceland and had settled in America in the 1800s. In 1938 he married Dorothy Bunning. They are the parents of two children. In 1943 he joined the Seabees and served in the South Pacific. He eventually served in Korea and Vietnam as well as participating in seven missions to the Antarctic....
