Heinrich Simon Gronemiar was born 14 June 1825 in Breden/Heipke, Lippe-Detmold, Germany. His parents were Christian Wilhelm Gronemiar, Jr. and Hanne Sophie Kuster. He married Luisa Wilhelmina Biere, daughter of Johann Hermann Christoph Biere and Anna Marie Ilsabein Schatmann, in 1854 in Cincinnati, Ohio. They had fourteen children. John Allred, son of William Allred and Alice Tongue, was born in 1637 in Eccles, Lancashire, England. He married Ellen Pemberton (1638-1684), daughter of John Pemberton and Margaret Smith.
