Jonathan Motter was born in Virginia ca. 1790-1800 and married Elizabeth Holloway in Ross County, Ohio in 1821. He died ca. 1840-1850. Descendants lived in Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Utah, Oregon, California, Georgia, and elsewhere.

The pioneer ancestor of the Junk family in Fayette County, Pennsylvania was Thomas Junk, who came from Ireland to America with his family and settled first in New Jersey. About 1788 he and his two older sons built themselves a home in what is now North Union Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. Description
Deane Dinsmore and Ruth Warner were married in May 1938. On the occasion of their 40th wedding anniversary their children compiled a short family history of the highlights of their lives and with background on their ancestry and short sketches of their three sons. Their descendants lived in Iowa and Ohio in 1978.
