Frank Laughlin Wilson (1880-1979) was born in Oakland, Tennessee, the son of David S. Wilson and Emma Atkinson (Allen) Wilson. In 1903 he married Lottie Gaither (1884-1956), the daughter of Samuel Elam Gaither and Martha Ammonette Roberts.
