Consists of family group records, 1777-1980, for descendants of William Stratton (b.1778) and his wife, Katherine (Keethler) Stratton (b.ca. 1777/1781), who married about 1797. William moved from Philadelphia to Bracken County, Kentucky, and in 1807/1808 the family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, later moving to Brown County, Ohio. Descendants lived in the midwest, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and elsewhere.
