John Jacob Fendrick (1822-1908), son of Jacob Fehndrich, married Susan Catherine Schmidt in 1841, and immigrated in 1852 from Switzerland to Wolfe Creek, Holmes County, Ohio. They moved about 1860 and also in 1870 to other properties in Holmes County, Ohio, and retired to live in Glenmont, Ohio. Descendants and relatives lived in Ohio, Iowa and elsewhere. Includes some ancestry in Switzerland.

Johannes Finkbeiner (1820-1874) married Regina Rachelle Wurth in 1843, and in 1871/1872 they immigrated from Germany to Barry County, Michigan (to join two sons who had earlier immigrated there, via Canada). Descendants and relatives lived in Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Colorado and elsewhere. Includes ancestors and family history in Germany to about 1100 A.D.
