John Pers was born about 1588 and lived for a time in Norwich in Norfolk County, England. He came to America about 8 June 1637 and lived in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts where he died 19 August 1661.

John Kryder (1736-1803) emigrated from Switzerland to Berks County, Pennsylvania, and married Angelia Fox in 1767. They later moved to Aaronsburg, Centre County, Pennsylvania, and then to Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio and elsewhere. Paternal and maternal ancestry lived in Switzerland, Germany and elsewhere.

Rev. Evans served Immanuel Reformed at Williamsport 1867-1871 including supplying Reformed churches in Nippenose Valley, White Deer Valley and Black Hole, all in Lycoming County. He served Trinity Reformed at Pottstown 1871-1912 including supplying Reformed churches at Amity/Amityville, Birdsboro, Bechtelsville, St. Paul's, and Swamp. He continued in the ministry after retirement until 1922.
