Thomas Lambe, his wife, Elizabeth, and two sons, arrived in Boston, Massachusetts, from England, in 1630. They had four other children, 1630-1639. He and his second wife, Dorothy, had four children, 1641-1646. He died in 1646 at Roxborough, Massachusetts. Description
Isaac Lamb bought land near the Mystic River in what was New London, Conn., about 1695 or 1696. He and his wife, Elizabeth, had nine children. He died in 1703. Record gives direct line of descent to Franklin Lee Lamb, who was born in 1848 at Southbridge, Massachusetts, the son of Rufus Lamb, Jr. (1812-1885) and Sylvia Conant Lee Lamb. He married Josephine A. Savory in 1871 at Manchester, New Hampshire. They had three children, 1876-1886.
