Richard Lampkin was born in 1911 in Florida. In 1936 he married Irma Hutton and they had one son, David. This material covers records and stories of their many ancestors that he has collected over several decades. Some of these lines run into old colonial families whose members fought in the Revolutionary War.
Includes all surnames in the full title of the Lampkin genealogy which include three generations of relatives.

William Foulds was born 10 May 1782 in Lee-in-Marsden (near Colne), Lancashire, England. He was the son of Thomas Foulds and Betty (surname unknown). William married Susan Sutcliffe in 1804 and they were the parents of nine children. Descendants immigrated to Canada and settled primarily in the Province of Ontario. John Bomar (1757-ca. 1844), a Revolutionary War soldier, was born in King and Queen County, Virginia. He probably married at least twice and may have been the father of ten children, born ca. 1784-ca. 1810. He and his family migrated to Hardin County, Kentucky, ca. 1806. Some of the Bomar/Bowmar/Bomer etc. families listed in this work are his descendants.

Philipp Bausch, son of Adam Bausch (son of Philipp) and Eva Elisabetha Wekel, was born 31 October 1857 in Laudenbach, Germany. He married Margaretha Dittler on 11 October 1857 in Laudenbach. Description
Moses Crankshaw (d.1810/1820) immigrated from England to the state of New York, and served with General Burgoyne at the Battle of Saratoga in the American Revolution. He was held as a British prisoner in Canada between 1777 and 1784 and, before exchange, married Mary Rose in Montreal. They settled in Saratoga County, New York. Descendants lived in New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Indiana, Kansas, California and elsewhere.
