Johann Sebastian Lescher or Bastian Lasher, was born in about 1668 in Rheinland Pfalz, Germany. He married Maria Elisabetha (Theobaldt?) in about 1688. They had twelve children. He died in about 1734 in Germantown, New York. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Some descendants spell their name Lesher.
