George Longstaff, (1896-1961), son of John Longstaff (1883-1901) and Harriet Wardell (1864-1940), was born in South Shields, Durham, England. He married May or Maria Laurenson (1895-1992), in 1919. They had nine children.

Betty Anderton was christened 4 August 1786 in Ormskirk, Lancashire, England. Her parents were John Anderton (1750-1797) and Ellen Snape (1754-1830). She had three children, John, Mary and William.
