Sarah Studevant, daughter of Lemuel Studevant and Priscilla Tompson, was born in 1798 in Lime, New Hampshire. She married Jeremiah Leavitt (d. 1846) in 1817 in Barton Vermont. They had nine children. After her husband's death, she and her family settled in Tooele County, Utah.

Jeremiah Leavitt (III) was the son of Jeremiah Leavitt (II) and Sarah Studevant born 1797. He was born in Hatley, Quebec, Canada, 20, February 1822. The family immigrated to Missouri and became converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jeremiah (III) marred Eliza Harrover in 1845 in Nauvoo, Illinois, moved to Gunlock, Washington Co., Utah, and died in 1878.

Donna Rushton was born in Salt Lake City, and married Laman Pulsipher Leavitt in 1923. Both were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and after various moves, they settled in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Francis Hale Leavitt was born 20 June 1911 in Bunkerville, Nevada. His parents were Dudley Henry Leavitt and Mary Hafen. He married Marian Holmes 2 June 1937 in Ogden, Utah. They had two children and lived in California in the Bay Area. Frances served in World War II. He worked for the State Department of Education. Marion died in 1978. .
