James B. Ledbetter (1829-1909) was born in Bedford County, Tennessee and died in Hillcreek, Arkansas. He married Cynthia Bain (1829-1855) in 1847. They had four children. He married again in 1859 to Caroline Barrett Thompson (1836-1916). They had six children. Contains a collection of family group sheets of James' descendants.

Archibald Holland (1800-1868) was born in Virginia and migrated to Clarke County, Georgia, in 1812 with his family. He married Elizabeth Hagen (1809-1840) in Clarke County in 1823. They had seven children, 1826-1839. The family was lived in DeKalb (now Fulton County) in 1830 and moved to Cobb County in 1833, then Paulding County. Lawrence Bilbrey was born about 1770 in Chatham, North Carolina and died between 1850-1860 in Overton, Tennessee. His father was Thomas Bilbrey. He married (1) Alvania Copeland. He married (2) Prudence Gore. There were fourteen known children between the two marriages. Descendants and relatives have lived mainly in Tennessee and North Carolina.

Richard Ledbetter was born ca. 1690 and lived in Dinwittie Co., Virginia. He was married to Hanna (surname unknown). In 1724, Richard was the first Ledbetter to acquire land in the then frontier county of Brunswick near the North Carolina line. He was the father of five known children and died in 1767. Descendants lived primarily in North Carolina, Virginia and elsewhere.
