Ambrose Mills (1722-1780), son of William Henry Mills and Mary Walton, was born in Derbyshire, England. He married Mourning Stone in abooy 1745 in Virginia. They had one son, William Mills (1746-1834). He married Anna Brown Carrick before 1765. They had six children. He died in Rutherford County, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina.

Ezekiel John Morton was born in about 1822 in Montgomery County, North Carolina. He married twice and had ten children. He served in the Civil War. He died in about 1868.
