Andreas Windberg was born in Anhalt, Prussia August 22, 1846. He arrived at the Port of Galveston, Texas on June 2, 1870. He married Wilhelmine Anna Sturm, daughter of Christian and Auguste Miller Sturm, February 23, 1871 in Austin County, Texas. They had eight children. Andreas died April 7, 1906 and Wilhelmine died January 25, 1920. Both are buried in St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery in Schroeder, Texas. Descendants lived mainly in Texas.

Jacob Dentler was born 25 July 1825 in Ecken Feld, Bavaria, Germany. In 1848, he immigrated to the United States and settled in Texas. There he met Rosina Schreider (1833-1899), who had also emigrated Germany. They were married in Victoria, Texas, 4 July 1856. They had eight children. Jacob died 18 February 1894 and he and his wife are buried in the Noll (School) Cemetery near Mission Valley, Victoria County, Texas. Descendants mostly lived in Texas.
