John Light, with two brothers, emigrated from the Palatinate, Germany, ca. 1719. One brother stayed in England; one in Maryland. John Light settled in Lebanon township, Pennsylvania. He secured a tract of land in Lebanon city in 1742. He and his wife had four sons. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
