William Thomas McMasters was born in Iowa in 1870. His family came from North Carolina and earlier from Scotland. He married Minnie Liston and they had 15 children. They settled in Oklahoma where they raised their family. Information on their ancestry, as well as on some lines of their descendants is included in this volume.

Johan Georg Kramer arrived in the U.S. in 1740. He was married to Elisabeth Blaicher and their children had been born in Saulgau, Wuerttemburg, Germany. Their son, Daniel was born in 1730 and married Anna Margaretha Schmidt ca. 1752 in York County, Pennsylvania. Descendants changed surname spelling to "Cramer". Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, Washington, and elsewhere.

Werner (Garnier) Schaublin married Elsbeth Tschudin ca. 1682 in Basel, Switzerland. Their son, Christian Schaublin (1683-1762), was born in Oberdorff and married Barbara Spithaler in 1708 in Waldenburg, Switzerland. Christian died in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Descendants lived in Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, Washington, and elsewhere. Descendants changed surname to "Shively".

John Pound (d.1690) married twice and was in Piscataway, New Jersey during or before 1686. His great-grandson, John Pound (b.ca.1735), served in the Revolutionary War and moved from New Jersey to land near Cumberland, Maryland. Descendants lived in New Jersey, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and elsewhere.
