Description
William Odell (d.1676), a Puritan, spent some time in Holland, and then returned to England, where he married Rebecca Brown. They immigrated to Concord, Massachusetts in 1634, and later moved to Fairfield, Connecticut. Some descendants immigrated to Canada after the American Revolution. Some descendants moved to New York, Iowa, Wisconsin, West Virginia and elsewhere.

Rezin (Reason) Bowie, son of James Bowie and Sarah Whitehead, was born about 1762, probably in North Carolina. He married Elvie (Elva) Apcatesby Jones, daughter of John Jones, on 8 Mar 1782, in Burke County, Georgia. They had 7 children. Rezin died in 1821 in Acadia Parish, Louisiana. Elva died in 1838 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Their descendants have lived in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Texas, and other areas in the United States.

Description
Thomas Waterman, of some military note, left Wales and settled in Norwich, England, and was honored with a Coat of Arms in 1636. In the same year, his sons, Robert and Thomas, came to Plymouth, Massachusetts. So they were not Pilgrims, nor among the Puritan settlers of Massachusetts Bay, but simply immigrants. Thomas (the son) settled in Roxbury in 1641, and died in 1676 leaving a son Thomas.

Hulda Lobdell (1765-1848) was born in Salem, New York to Joshua Lobdell III (b.1727) and Sarah Scott (1719-1823). Joshua was a descendant of Simon Lobdell (1625-1717) who was born in Hereford, England. He married Perris Pearce. They immigrated to America and settled in Connecticut where the family remained for at least two generations.
