Gustave Arvilien Breaux, Jr. was born 23 October 1869 in New Orleans, Louisiana. His parents were Gustave Arvilien Breaux (1828-1910) and Emilie Locke (1836-1872). He married Mary Edna Rowell 23 October 1899 in Washington, D.C. Mary was born 16 October 1876 in Itica, New York. They had two children. Ancestors and descendants lived mainly in Canada, Louisiana, Kentucky, New York, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Calvin Locke (1765-1843) was born at Ashby, Massachusetts, the son of James Locke (1729-1808) and Hannah Farnsworth Locke. He married Sarah Jewett in 1796 at Rindge, New Hampshire. They had seven children, 1796-1808. He was a farmer at Sullivan, New Hampshire. Descendants listed lived in New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts, Texas, California, and elsewhere.
Includes the Gerould, Knight, and other related families.

John Churchill (d.1662) immigrated before 1643 from England to Plymouth, Massachusetts, and married Hannah Pontus in 1644. Asaph Churchill (1765-1841), direct descendant in the sixth generation, moved from near Middleborough to Milton, Massachusetts, and married Mary Gardner in 1810. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, Virginia, Kentucky and elsewhere.

Elizabeth "Betsey" Locke was born in 1800 to Ayres and Lydia (Blodgett) Locke. She married Jesse Eaton sometime after 1820. They were the parents of six children and resided in New York, Ohio and Illinois. Elizabeth is the sixth generation of William Locke, who emigrated from England in 1634 on the ship "Planter".
