George Taylor Lockhart (1875-1951), adopted son of Gilbert Lockhart (1832-1907) and Nancy Adaline (1838-1909), married Mary Louise Wheeler (1880-1960), daughter of William Wheeler and Jane Elizabeth Ferrall (1848-1942), in 1898 in Bryan, Ohio. Alexander Ramsey was married to Elizabeth Lockhart about 1755. They lived in York county, Pennsylvania and had seven children. Alexander died by 1785 and more information on many of his children and other descendants is included in this volume. Later his descendants moved west with many of the other pioneers and now they live in California, Arizona, Missouri, and elsewhere.

Philip Coleman (1771-1838), son of Henry and Elizabeth Coleman, moved from Montgomery County, Pennsylvania to Campbell County, Kentucky, married Ann Kelly in 1794/1795, and in 1797 moved to Warren County, Ohio. He served in the War of 1812, and later moved to Shelby County, Ohio. Descendants lived in Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin and elsewhere.
