John Loney (1748-1801) was a shoemaker in Johnstown, New York. His wife's name was Catherine (b. ca. 1749). They were married ca. 1767. John was an United Empire Loyalist and they immigrated to Canada ca. 1784 where they settled in "Indian lands, Charlottenburgh, Upper Canada" (later Ontario). Traces their descendants. .

James Kirkpatrick (b.1770) and Hugh Kirkpatrick Jr. (1772) were the only sons of Hugh Kirkpatrick, a Revolutionary War soldier, who also had six daughters about whom little is known. The six daughters were: Elizabeth (Hillis), Hannah, Jean, Margaret, Rebecca, and Ann (Mc A Dow). James and Hugh Jr. were very close throughout their lives. They were born on Broome's Bloom Plantation, Baltimore (now Harford) County, Maryland, later lived in Chester County...
