Josephine Lovejoy, daughter of Victor Lovejoy and May, was born in 1913 in Jefferson, Iowa. She married Cloice Myers in 1936.

John Lovejoy (ca.1622-1690) immigrated about 1622 from England to Andover, Massachusetts, and married Mary Osgood in 1651 at Ipswich, Massachusetts. Descendants lived in New England, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Colorado and elsewhere.

Victor Hugo Lovejoy was born 4 January 1871 in Old Rippey, Iowa. His parents were James Collins Lovejoy and Emeline Bunnell. He married May Elden, daughter of William Elden and Alma, 19 October 1896. They had four children. He died 30 January 1944 in Clarinda, Iowa.

Silas Moody (1796-1878) was born at Amherst, Massachusetts, the son of Silas Moody (1763-1814) and Eunice Dickinson Moody (1771-1802). He married Judith Green (1796-1877) in 1817. They had nine children, 1818-1836. The family migrated to Vershire, Vermont in 1822. Judith died at Vershire. Silas Moody died at the home of a son in Methuen, Massachusetts. Henry Luce was born between 1640 and 1645, possibly in the Bristol area of England. He was living at Scituate, Massachusetts, by 1666. He married Remember Litchield, daughter of Lawrence and Judith Dennis Litchfield, ca. 1666. They had ten children, ca. 1667-ca. 1685.
