Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Nye (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from Denmark, England, Germany, and Ireland. Some focus is on (but not limited to) descendants of Benjamin Nye, who built the historic Grange Homestead on Old Country Road, East Sandwich, Massachusetts in 1669. He also built the adjacent Grange Grist Mill in 1685. Benjamin married Katherine Tupper in 1640, in Sandwich, Massachusetts....

Chiefly a record of some descendants of Alexander "Alex" F. Irick, Sr. He was born 2 Oct 1819 in Virginia and died 12 Feb 1903. He married Elizabeth Higgins. They were the parents of eleven children. Descendants live in Ohio.

John Knau(b)er arrived in the United States about 1845 from Germany, his future wife, Ann Jones, came from Wales about 1849. They married in 1856 and later they moved to Iowa where the raised seven children. All of the children lived longer than their parents and it is they and their descendants who are sketched in this volume. Many of Ann Jones' brothers and sisters are also included in the book.

Abraham Freed (1817-1865) married Mary Singer and lived in Bridgville, Delaware. Descendants lived in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Illinois and elsewhere.

William Perez Schrock (ca. 1763-1848) was probably born in Virginia, near Winchester. He married Jane Means and nine of their twelve children grew up in what is now Romney, West Virginia. After her death in 1835, he went to Westerville, Ohio to live with their son, George. Descendants and relatives also lived in Missouri, Nebraska, Wyoming, Oregon, California and elsewhere.
