Johann Bernard Drerup (1799-1863) immigrated from Germany to Glandorf, Ohio in 1835, and was joined by his brother, Bernard Anton Drerup (1803-1882) in 1837. Johann Bernard Drerup had married Elizabeth Werning in 1832, and his family immigrated with him. Descendants and relatives lived in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Texas and elsewhere. Includes ancestors in Germany to 1600.

Philo Taylor Edwards was born 29 January 1899 in Beaver, Beaver Co., Utah. He was the son of Aaron Robert Edwards (immigrant from Yorkshire, England) and Mary Elizabeth Farnsworth. Philo married Addie May Gurr 19 September 1917 in Manti, Utah. They lived in Utah and were the parents of fourteen children. Philo died 21 December 1989 in Provo, Utah. Descendants lived primarily in Utah, Idaho and elsewhere.

Joseph Barlow Forbes (1840-1927) was born at Bangor, Penobscot, Maine. His parents were Joseph B. Forbes and Sarah Ann Gilpatrick of Bangor. He attended Harvard College and later studied navigation. He married Nancy Dayton (b.1851), the daughter of Hyrum Dayton and Nancy Lance, in 1867 at American Fork, Utah after completing military service in the Civil War.
