The MacDougalls, MacEwens, Munroes, Stewarts, Robertsons and other Scottish families traveled from their native Scotland and settled in the Glengarry-Stormont region of Ontario, Canada, just a little east of Ottawa. The Stewarts came to Canada in the early 1800s as well as the MacEwens, Munroes, Robertsons and MacDougalls. Description
Willis Clark Duncan (1871-1914), son of Wiliam Ewen Duncan (1836-1901) and Phoebe Ann McMindes (1846-1909), was born in Sheridan County, Indiana. He married Mertie Mae Eitel (1880-1950), daughter of James Calvin Eitel (1858-1912) and Alice E. Cannyon (1862-1893), in 1898 in Kansas. He died in Garland County, Arkansas. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Scotland, Ireland, Germany, New York, Kansas and Missouri.
