John MacLean (1882-1948) was born in Glasgow, Scotland. His family emigrated in 1887 and settled in Ontario. He married Erie Rose Aldrich O'Brien in 1913 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He married Lillian Francis (1891-1969) in 1930 in Los Angeles, California.

Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of Benjamin Franklin Eastman who was born 8 July 1834 in Danbury, New Hampshire. He was a descendant of Roger Eastman (born 1611) who immigrated to America from England and settled in Salisbury, Massachusetts. Benjamin married Elenor Amanda Jane Church 11 March 1856. They were the parents of six children. Descendants lived primarily in Michigan.

Allan MacLean was born in 1715 at Kilbride, Island of Coll, Argyleshire, Scotland, the son of Allan and Catherine MacLean. He immigrated to America in 1740 and settled at Hartford, Connecticut. He married Susanna Beauchamp in 1741. She died in 1742. He married 2) Mary Loomis, daughter of Jabez and Mary Ferry Loomis in 1744. They had four children, all born at East Hartford.
