Neil Paul Jameson, son of Edmund James Jameson and Mary Ellen Shand, was born 13 Sep 1903 at Hillside, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. He immigrated to the United States on 8 July 1915. He married Elsie Sophie Meyer, daughter of George John Meyer and Sophie Ann Schneider, on 11 Jan 1931 in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. They had 4 children. Alan Neil (1765-1806), son of Allan Neil and descendant of the MacNeil family, immigrated from Scotland to Clark County, Kentucky in 1783/ 1785, and married Nancy Elkin before 1788. Hugh MacEachen or Eoghan Dubh was born circa 1768 in Arisaig, Scotland. He married Mary MacGillivray. They immigrated to Nova Scotia in1802. They had seven children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Nova Scotia and the United States.
