Neil McPhee married three times and after his death, his third wife, Janet (McDougal) McPhee (d.1887), and the family immigrated from Scotland to Oro, Ontario. Donald MacPhee, son of High MacPhee and Flora MacPhail, was born in 1838 in Canoe Cove, Prince Edward Island. He married Anne Thompson, daughter of John Thompson and Margaret Barbara Armstrong, in 1859 in St. John, New Brunswick. They had twelve children. He died in 1916.

David Robertson (1746-1815) was born in Scotland and married Mary Everhart (Eberhard) while serving in the British Army on the Rhine River in Germany. He later served with the British Army in the American Revolution and subsequently received land grants in Cornwall Township, Stormont County, Ontario. Descendants lived in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and elsewhere in Canada. Some descendants immigrated to the United States.
