Patrick Magee (b. ca. 1753) and Rosa (Rosanah) McCullough, both natives of Ireland, were married in Georgia. They had at least ten children, ca. 1785-1802, born in Georgia. The family migrated to Jefferson County, Missouri, ca. 1805. Patrick Magee may have died in Missouri, Most of the family migrated to Tennessee before 1817. Rosa Magee died there. Isabella Hall was born in 1857 in Allegany, New York. Her parents were Aaron Hall (1833-1857), son of Philo Shelton Hall and Orilla, and Elizabeth Rounds, daughter of Cyril Rounds and Priscilla Pixley. She married Emerald A. Magee in about 1873. They had two daughters, Hattie and Eva, who married brothers, Charles and Emery Barris in 1893. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Connecticut and New York.

George Carroll Wilkinson, Sr. (1908-1993) was born in Carson, Virginia to Thomas Redmond Wilkinson (1872-1917) and Linda Harville Magee (1876-1958). The Wilkinson family has been in Virginia since the early 1600s. In 1936 George married Virginia Lee Cox (1908-1963), daughter of Eugene Lee Cox (1868-1918) and Alice Greenaway Goodwyn (1886-1971).
