Velvil Fisch (1888-1971), son of Yitzkhak (Icheh) Fisch, married Malka Brody in 1905, and in 1906 immigrated from White Russia to Lisbon, Ohio, moving later to Detroit, Michigan; he anglicized his name to William Fisher. His brother, Beril Fisch (1893-1976), immigrated to join him in 1913, and anglicized his name to Ben Fisher.
