Church was organized about 1811 and disbanded in 1951. Annual meetings at the old church site are held.

Jacob Warren Manning (1826-1894), son of Solomon Manning and Mary Fletcher, married Lydia Brooks Chandler (1839-1908), daughter of Abial Chandler and Mary Felt.

Thomas Courtland Manning was born 14 September 1825 in Edenton, North Carolina. His parents were Joseph Manning (1775-1788) and Sarah Ferebee (1756-1797). He married Mary Louisa Blair (1827-1912) 18 January 1848. They had seven children. He died 11 October 1887 in New York City, New York. He was Chief Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court.

Robert Kelsay was born 1711 in Dromore, Ireland but was of Scottish rather than Irish descent. He immigrated to America with his brother (John) and they arrived at the port of Philadelphia in 1734. Robert moved to New Jersey and married Mariam Smith in 1742. They were the parents of eight children. Descendants lived in Texas, New Jersey, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri and elsewhere.
