Frank Fletcher was born April 13, 1863, to Charles and Mary Jane Fletcher of Bush Creek, Fairbault, Minnesota. The family migrated to Columbia County, Washington in 1869. Frank married Laura Anna Manning in Dayton 12 January 1885. Includes descendants chiefly in Columbia County, Washington.

Thomas Courtland Manning was born 14 September 1825 in Edenton, North Carolina. His parents were Joseph Manning (1775-1788) and Sarah Ferebee (1756-1797). He married Mary Louisa Blair (1827-1912) 18 January 1848. They had seven children. He died 11 October 1887 in New York City, New York. He was Chief Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court.

James Simuels Smith was born 19 June 1896 in Big Wash, White Pine, Nevada. His parents were Elias McClellan Smith and Emma Paul. He married Rebecca King, daughter of Thomas Edward King and Elizabeth Manning, in 1923 in Logan, Utah. They had thirteen children. Aurelian Townshend was born in about 1583. He married Ann Wythes, a widow, and had five children. The family lived in Coventry. A descendant, John Stanislaus Townshend purchased Trevallyn in Rossett, Denbighshire in 1810. Descendants and relatives lived in Wales, England, Australia, Canada and elsewhere. Shows how the family is related to the Spencers of Althorp.

Robert Gardner (178l-1855) and his wife, Margaret Calinder lived with their five children in Scotland. Margaret and three children immigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1823 to join her husband and two children who had left prior to that time. In 1843 they joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and left Canada for Utah. Descendants lived throughout the West.
