He married Anna Maria Daub, daughter of Johan Heinrich Daub and Anna Catharina Hoffmann, 14 August 1736. They emigrated and settled in Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Nebraska, California.
