Jacob Wagner (1725-1802) was born in Nottingen, Germany to Jacob Wagner and Anna Maria Jung. In 1738 he immigrated with his parents to America and settled in Pennsylvania. He married Louisa Huber (1736- 1827) and they became the parents of ten children. Descendants live in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Michigan and other parts of the United States.

This book contains a history of the Maurer Reunions held in the Altoona, Pennsylvania area and documents the descendants of Daniel Maurer (1760-1826) and his wife Mary Kissell (1760-1826). It contains a collection of family group charts, newspaper clippings, copies of certificates, and other genealogical documents. The book is organized by family lines, with most of the information about Daniel's grandson James Knox Polk Maurer (1845-1910).

The history and genealogy of Menasche Maurer (1852-1913) of Biecz, Poland, son of Shimon Maurer and Pearl Blau. He was married to Laihe Rieger (1854-1914?). He emigrated from Poland arriving at Ellis Island in November 1902. His wife Laihe stayed in Poland and died there. Five of their children immigrated to United States and have families in New York and elsewhere.

Description
Christian Yoder was the immigrant ancestor of the Yoder family. He was born on 2 January 1795 in Charmois, Belfort, France. He married Maria Yoder on 23 December 1822 in Danjoutin, France. They had four children. Two of the children died in infancy. Christian J. Yoder, the third of the children was born 2 September 1827. He married Catherine Bacher on 4 May 1851. Twelve children were born.

Phillip Jacob Maurer and Margareta Wagner Maurer of Kronenberg, Germany had eight children before she died in 1832. In 1833, he married Elizabeth Boesel, and the family immigrated to Ohio. Their only son, Karl, was born that year, shortly after the death of his father. She cared for the step-children, and later married Adam Paul.

Christian Jungen, Sr. (b.1786) married Sara Burran in 1805, and they emigrated from Switzerland to Georgetown, Ohio in 1835, settling shortly in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. He died between 1855 and 1868. Descendants lived in Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Virginia and elsewhere.

Daniel Maurer (1749-1832) was born in Grumbach, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, son of Heinrich Maurer and Maria Katharina Erhardt. He immigrated to Philadelphia in 1764 and then lived in Lehigh and Berks counties, Pennsylvania. He married Regina Wagner. Both died at Pitman, Pennsylvania. His descendant, George H. Maurer, married Catherine Herb (1857-1895). Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and elsewhere.
