Richard Maxon (fl. 1634-1660), a blacksmith, was the first Maxson in America. He was one of the purchasers of Misquamiot (later Westerly) Rhode Island. Descendants listed, chiefly some of the descendants of Silas Maxson (b. 1750), son of David Maxon (1729-1786), a farmer near Westerly, Rhode Island, lived in Rhode Island, New York, and elsewhere.

John Henry Brown, son of John Brown, Jr. and Margaret Lind, was born in 1818 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He married Adaline Peters, daughter of George Peters and Susanna Getz, in 1845. They had eleven children. Their son, Walter Peters Brown (1856-1935), married Carolina Prufer Vollers in 1920 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

James Richardson (b.ca1756) emigrated to the Colonies from Ireland and was enlisted as a private in the Revolutionary War in 1778. After the War he settled in East Tennessee. He was the father of at least three known sons: John, James and Samuel. His son Samuel (1787-1848) married Mary Jane Bunch (1799-1877) and they were the parents of six children. Rev. William Davis (d.1745) immigrated from Wales to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1684. He married twice and died at Shrewsbury, New Jersey. His grandson, Thomas William Davis (1719-1791), married Tacy Crandall in Westerly, Rhode Island and led a group of Seventh Day Baptists to seek a location for colonization in what became Salem, Virginia (later West Virginia). John Tefft, of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, and his wife Mary had four known children. John died in 1676 and Mary died in 1679. A descendant, John Tifft was born in 1758. He married Anna Vallet (b. 1760). They moved from Exeter, Rhode Island to Nassau, New York in 1793. They had twelve children. John died in Nassau, New York in 1813. Descendants lived primarily in Rhode Island and New York.
