Floyd MacAllister was born in 1907 in Russell County, Kansas. His parents were Frank McAllister and Delphia E. Stephenson. He married Willa Mae Swanson, daughter of John Swanson and Emma Ida Adelman, in 1934. They had three sons. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, Sweden, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Washington and Oregon.

Matthew McAllister was born at York County, Pennsylvania on May 4, 1758 and died in Savannah, Georgia on May 9, 1823. Matthew Hall McAllister was born at Savannah, Georgia on November 26, 1800.

Hugh McAlister, of Scottish lineage, emigrated about 1730 from Ireland to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He married Miss harbison, and they had eight children. Descendants (chiefly spelling the surname McAllister) and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky and elsewhere. John Daniel Thompson McAllister was born 19 February 1827 in Lewis, Delaware. His parents were J.F. McAllister and Eliza Thompson. He married Ellen Handley in 1847. They had two sons, Moroni and John, before traveling from Kanesville, Iowa to Salt Lake City in 1851. Consists of daily journal entries detailing their journey from 1 July 1851 to 1 October 1851.

Edward Fox, parents not listed, was born about 1645 in England. He married Mary Allen, daughter of Charles Allen. They immigrated to America before 1684. They had 6 children. Edward died about 1715 and Mary died in Nov 1743 in Greenland, New Hampshire. Their descendants have lived in Maine, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Oregon, and other areas in the United States.

George Washington Grindell, son of William Grindall and Sarah, married Ellen Shearan, daughter of Michael Shearan and Bridget, in 1874. They had fourteen children.
