Biography of Elizabeth (Bird) McBride (1857-1944), a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who crossed the plains with her parents and their family in 1865, and settled at Grantsville, Utah. She married Orson McBride about 1874, and they lived at St. John (near Grantsville), Utah until they had 4 children and then moved to Oakley, Idaho in 1882. She later moved to Logan Utah and then to Salt Lake City.

An autobiography of the life of James McBride born 9 May 1818 in New Lancester, Fairfield County, Ohio. He was the son of Thomas McBride (1776-1838) and Catherine John. James married 1) 7 Mar 1844 Olive Mehetable Cheney in Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois. They settled in Willow Creek (now Grantsville, Utah) in 1850. He married 2) 7 Nov 1856 Marian Louisa Redden (1841-1875), and 3) 25 Oct 1875 Christine C. Johnson. He died in 1876.

Clifton Robert McBride was born 8 June 1902. His parents were Robert Wells McBride and Edith Deseret Cummins. He married Vida Hollingworth 7 November 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had three daughters and two sons. They moved to Los Angeles in 1926 where he worked in construction and chrome plating.
