Lulu Robinson (1864-1950) is a descendant of the Reverend John Robinson (1575-1614) of Sturton, England and Leyden, Holland, minister to the separatists who, at the Reverend's urging, formed the Mayflower Colony. Lulu married Joseph Siers McCall at Hopkinsville, Texas in 1883; their descendants, who include the Bales, Lancaster, and Olds families, have lived primarily in Texas.

John McCall was born 1591 in Ireland. He was a grandson of Sir John McCall, who was born 1520 in Scotland and moved to Ireland with his wife Mary Richardson. John married Elizabeth Shell in 1618. He immigrated to America in 1620 on the Mayflower. On the voyage over, his wife (Elizabeth) died giving birth to a baby girl. John settled near Plymouth, Massachusetts and married Jane Aiken in the year 1620. John was the father of two known children. Descendants...

James Henry Wise, son of James Cameron Wise and Martha Ann Mullin, was born in 1852 in McNairy County, Tennessee. He married Hannah Jane Parsons in 1873. They had two children. He married Frances Adeline McCall in 1879. They had three children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Virginia, Tennessee and Texas.

The emigrant ancestor, Luke Mizell, settled at Jamestown, Va. about 1635. He was a land and property owner in Surry Co., Va. About 1737, when the Mizells were already in North Carolina, the first McCall came to America.
