William Richey (ca. 1700-1775) immigrated to America ca. 1725. He settled first in Pennsylvania; migrated to Maryland then Virginia. His son, James Richey (1745-1831), a Revolutionary War soldier, and his wife, Jane, had nine children, 1768-1785. James McCaw (d.1777)--son of William McCaw and Elizabeth Drew--married Elizabeth Brough, and immigrated from Scotland to Norfolk, Virginia. As a Loyalist, he served with the British forces during the Revolutionary War, and died in New York while with those forces. Descendants lived in Virginia, Indiana, Oregon, Washington and elsewhere.

Nicolas Gambs (1807-1886) was born at Rimling, France and died at Lake Charles, La. He was a descendant of Florentin Thiebaud (d. 1678) and Ann Elisabeth Cuillerie (d. 1703). He was the son of Jean Adam Gambs/Gahmps and Barbara Bach who remained in France. He married thrice: Barbara Wack, Anne Marie Chatillon and Margaret Weinstein. He had at least twelve children.

Adam Meek was probably born in Ireland before 1726. He immigrated to America and was granted land in Cecil County, Maryland in 1745. He married Jean Mitchell, daughter of Andrew and Jean Mitchell. Adam's widow and three sons migrated to York County, South Carolina prior to 1778. Jean Meek died in 1797.

John McCaw, son of John McCaw who emigrated from County Antrim, Ireland in 1733, was born 8 February 1753 in Pennsylvania. He married Mary Johnston Gordon, daughter of Robert Johnston and Mary, in 1781. They had seven children. He died 13 August 1781 in York County, South Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in South Carolina, Kentucky and Texas.
