Thomas Graves was born before 1585, and immigrated with his family from England to New England before 1645. Descendants lived in New England, New York, Iowa, Washington, Oregon, California, Oklahoma and elsewhere.

Edmund Hodges, son of Edmund Hodges (1709-1777) and Mercy Cooke, was born in 1744 in Norton, Massachusetts. He married Rachel Godfrey, daughter of James Godfrey and Mary Gilbert, in 1764. He died in 1805 in Cold Water, Missouri. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts, Vermont and Ontario.

Ambrose and Mary Swallow came to Chelmsford, Massachusetts from England on or before 1666. He died in 1684. Descendants lived in Massachusetts, Vermont, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, California, Kansas, New York, Maine, and elsewhere.
