Isaac McCoy was born in 1784 in Pennsylvania and later moved to Kentucky where he married Christiana Polk in 1803. He was ordained a Baptist minister and sent to establish missions among the Miami Indians (1817-[1822?]) in Indiana, the Pottawatomies (1822-[1828?]) in Michigan, and the Ottawas (1826-[1828?]) in Michigan. George Owen White (1860-1948) was born at Lynville, Jasper, Iowa. In 1884, he married Clara Zilpha Hockett (1867-1920) at Hocketts, Custer, Montana. Together they raised nine children. In 1914 George made homestead at Cambridge, Idaho. He died in Richland, Oregon in 1948.
