Sergeant Thomas Foster (ca 1600-1682) and his brother, William came to America in 1634. William Evans (1777-1816) was married in Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in 1797, to Parthenia Hill. She was born 29 May 1773 in Eastern New Jersey Colony, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Richison/Richardson) Hill.
