Adam Barger (1784-1864) was the eighth child of Philip Barger (1741- 1803) and Eve Clements, and was born at Blacksburg, Virginia. Adam married Lucinda Nolan in Kanawha County, West Virginia in 1810, and moved between 1826 and 1831 to Loami, Illinois. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, Washington and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to British Columbia, Alberta and elsewhere in Canada.

Littleberry Shields, probably the son of William Shields, Jr. and Nancy, was born in about 1764 in Henrico County, Virginia. He married Susannah Rogers, daughter of William Rogers and Mary Cannifax, in 1787 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. They had four children. He died 17 December 1827 in Madison County, Georgia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, and Texas.

John Holloway (1686-1716) immigrated from England to Chesterfield, New Jersey and married Mary Pharo about 1705. Descendants lived throughout the United States.

Ephraim Dickens was born 8 October 1783 in Virginia, probably in Montgomery County. He married three times (Emily, Elizabeth and Hester Ann) and had thirteen children. He lived in Ohio, Indiana before returning to Fayette County, Virginia. His brother, Thomas, was born in about 1785. He married Rhoda Pennington. They had seventeen children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia and Illinois.

Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, Illinois and elsewhere.

David Dixon (1795/1796-1858/1860) married Mary Ann McGee in 1816 in Cumberland County, New Jersey, and moved to Perry County, Indiana about 1838/1839. They moved to Wabash County, Illinois after 1850. Descendants and relatives lived in New Jersey, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Nebraska, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Arizona and elsewhere.
