Alexander William MacIntyre (1829-1884), son of Alexander MacIntyre (1795-ca. 1869) and Margaret, was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He married Mary Jane Morden (1835-1925), daughter of William Morden and Nancy Anne Parliament, ion 1852 in Bruce, Ontario. He died in Scotland, South Dakota.

Robert Smith, son of Robert Smith and Mary, was born 15 July 1754 in Yorkshire, England. He married Grace Braithwaite (1751-1831) in about 1774 in Manchester, England. They had eight children. He died in 1830 and was buried in Marathon, New York. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York and Michigan. Includes McIntyre and related families.

Angus A. McIntyre was born on the family farm in St. Elmore, Glengarry, Ontarioa, 28 Februrary 1841, the son of Donald Angus McIntyre. In 1865 he, and other family members, migrated to California, seeking gold. He married Flora Lillie Leaman (1856-1920), daughter of Henry and Elvira Leaman, in Marysville, California, 3 Dec. 1874. They had seven children. He died in 1890. Descendants listed lived in California.
