William Holbrook (d. ca. 1626) of Glastonbury, Sommersetshire, England, and his wife, Edith, had seven children, ca. 1587-ca. 1602. Their son, Thomas Holbrook (ca. 1591-1675), and Jane Powyes were married in 1616 at Glastonbury. They had six children, 1618-ca. 1637. Solomon Wright was probably born around 1757, place unknown, possibly Scotland. He moved from North Carolina to South Carolina in 1782 and served in the South Carolina militia. He was living in Darlington Co., South Carolina when he married Miss Reynolds. He died in 1838 in Henry County, Alabama. Descendants and relatives lived in Alabama, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and elsewhere.

William Howel McKnight (1862-1934) was born at Minersville, Utah, the son of James and Sarah Ann Howell McKnight. Sarah Vilate Dalton (1866-1928) was born at Fillmore, Utah, the daughter of Charles Wakeman (Wayman) and Sarah Jane Lee Dalton. They were married in 1884 at Minersville. Mahlon Collins was born ca. 1756 in Sussex Co., New Jersey. He was the son of Jonathan Collins. Mahlon married Phoebe (surname unknown) sometime prior to the year 1777. In 1830 they sold their land in Gragson Co., Virginia and moved to Lawrence Co., Indiana. Mahlon died 1834 in Indiana and was the father of eight known children. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Virginia, Indiana and elsewhere.
